Tech Tips: Scanning Documents and e-Signature

Technology is supposed to make tasks easier, right? Right??? It is, but it doesn’t always work that way. Here are two tech tips that will deliver on that promise.

Better Scans

We all need to scan a document or provide pictures of receipts from time to time.  We often end up with photo files that are huge yet still unclear—with shadows, inconsistent size, or in formats like HEICs that aren’t compatible with standard platforms. Often we’re trying to capture important legal documents that need to be presented more professionally. What is a better practice for scanning?

Both Apple and Google provide excellent and simple solutions that are accessible from your phone:

If you have an older phone that does not offer the above options, many apps are  available for document scanning. We recommend doing a Google search for one that is compatible with your device.

Adding a Signature

Similarly, both Apple and Google now offer a simple solution for adding signatures and filling in forms onscans and digital documents, including PDFs.
